Gary Raff, MD

Dr. Raff is a Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon with special interest in complex congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension. He also has expertise in congenital and acquired chest wall disorders. Dr. Raff’s research focus is in pulmonary hypertension and reduction of narcotic use after surgery.
Dr. Raff has been conducting research focused on pulmonary hypertension since he was a fellow at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
He currently conducts clinical and basic science research in pulmonary hypertension treatments and models of pulmonary hypertension in the fetus. He is also interested in and has conducted research in novel ways to reduce narcotic use in patients after surgery.
