Nine-year-old Jorge Portugal-Herrera was diagnosed with sarcoma in his left knee. UC Davis Health surgeons removed his knee and replaced it with his healthy ankle by using a procedure called rotationplasty. After seeing a magazine article on Jorge, which featured pictures of him in Green Bay Packers gear, fellow cancer patient Rollie Swingle reached out and gave some items from his beloved Packers collection to Jorge.
