Dr. Strong's clinical interests lie in both reconstructive facial plastic surgery as well as endoscopic sinus/skull base surgery. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in computer aided surgery (virtual surgical planning and visualization, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, intra-operative navigation, and intra-operative imaging) - applying these techniques for the treatment of maxillofacial trauma, sinusitis, and skull base tumors.
Dr. Strong's research focus is on reconstructive facial plastic surgery, rhinology, and skull base surgery. He studies minimally invasive approaches and computer aided applications in facial and skull base reconstruction. This includes the use of virtual surgical planning & visualization, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, as well as intra-operative navigation and imaging.
